I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs, so business has always been a part of my life. At 13, I jumped into the family business, helping distribute muffins and cupcakes to convenience stores across Houston. What started with just $500 turned into the largest distribution network in the area, eventually growing into a multi-million-dollar operation. It was an exciting time, but when the 2008 recession hit and margins started shrinking, we had to make some tough decisions. We put together an exit plan and moved on to new opportunities.

That transition led me into the world of Data Analytics, a field I knew little about at first but quickly grew to love. Over the years, I worked with companies across industries—Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Hospitality, Finance, Education, and Retail. I even spent almost a decade at Microsoft, where I expanded my skills and learned what it takes to solve complex business challenges with data.

One thing my dad always taught me was that making money is just part of the equation; what really matters is how you manage it. He drilled into me the importance of budgeting and making smart financial decisions—lessons that have stuck with me to this day. I've always run my businesses debt-free and believe in living within my means.

But beyond all the work experience, what really drives me is helping others. For the past 15 years, I’ve been running a community youth group where I mentor young people on financial independence and business skills. Seeing them take control of their futures—whether it's through better financial habits or starting their own ventures—has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.
